About Us

Org chart software has become an obstruction. It costs too much, does too much, and looks like it was designed by a committee that never had to use it.

We built Org Chart Studio to prove that business tools can be premium, focused, and fair. Not despite being simpler, but because of it.

We've sat in those meetings

Every week, someone opens PowerPoint to update the org chart. We've been in that room. We've been the person scrambling to update the chart before the all-hands. We've been the one explaining to finance why visualizing our own team structure requires a $5-per-person subscription.

  • Free tools that are not really free
  • Templates that break or require constant tweaking
  • Big box solutions where you pay for more features than you need

There had to be something in between. So we built it.

“The hardest work isn't adding features—it's saying no to them. We say no a lot.”

What we believe

Complexity is a hiding place

Enterprise software loves features. Features justify complexity. Complexity justifies the price. We think that's backwards.

Speed is a feature

If learning the tool takes longer than solving the problem, the tool is the problem. You should be building charts within minutes of signing up, not attending webinars about "best practices."

Your data belongs to you

Import from CSV. Export to PNG. No proprietary formats. No lock-in schemes disguised as "seamless integration." When you're done, take the chart and go.

Fair pricing isn't radical, it's obvious

We charge for clean exports, not for people. Pay $5 for a week, $10 for a month, or $100 for a year. No sales calls. No enterprise editions. No "request a quote." Just prices.

What we're against

Bloatware. Software that does everything poorly instead of one thing well.

The enterprise tax. The invisible markup for "enterprise-grade" that's usually just a Salesforce integration and a longer contract.

Demo culture. The idea that you need 45 minutes of screen-sharing to understand if software draws boxes correctly.

Consultant dependency. Any tool that requires a consultant to implement is a tool that failed at its job.

Who we are

We're a small team that got tired of enterprise software theater. We're building the tool we needed when we were Googling "PowerPoint org chart template" at midnight before a board meeting.

We measure success by what you don't have to do. No demos. No training. No implementation. No consultant.

Just the chart. Fast.

What's next

We're going to keep building this tool. Slowly. Carefully. Without adding features just because competitors have them.
